About

The Prindle School partners with educational and arts organizations in our area. We provide donations to these organizations that help them to further our collective mission of supporting arts education. These organizations include schools, school music programs, arts booster clubs, local arts-education programs, theater troops, and much more.

How We Help Organizations Raise Money

  1. Donations. The Prindle School often makes donations to fundraising drives held by our organizational partners. This often comes in the form of a gift certificate. For instance, we donate gift certificates for free private music lessons at no cost to organizations who then raffle or auction the certificate, retaining the proceeds.

  2. Purchasing Ads. Many of our partner organizations sell advertisements in printed programs for their performances. The Prindle School is always eager to purchase ads that offer a mutual benefit — promoting the school and offering much needed funding to meet the budget needs of local arts programs.

  3. Cross Promotion. We maintain a page on our website where we provide links to arts organizations that are our community support partners, helping to drive traffic to their websites. We can also provide help with promoting special events through our mailing list and social media presence. In addition, we can post printed flyers in the waiting rooms of our three locations. We are happy to provide promotional help whenever we are able at no charge to our partners.

  4. Community Support Subscribers. This aspect of our program has the best long-term benefit for arts organizations. When students sign up for lessons at The Prindle School, they can opt to support one of our partner organizations. When they do, we offer the student a 5% discount on their lessons with us AND we make a 5% donation to the partner organization. Because our students pay for lessons on a monthly basis, they receive an ongoing 5% discount every month and their selected organization receives a monthly donation.

For Students

All students of the Prindle School are eligible to become community support subscribers. When you register for lessons with us, let us know which organization you would like to support. If they are already one of our partner organizations, we will take care of the rest. Once you are registered for lessons, you’ll automatically receive your 5% discount and your selected organization will receive a 5% donation. If the organization you have requested is not currently one of our partners, we will reach out to them and then work together to get them registered as an organizational partner.
