Gillian Kearney

Gillian Kearney is a graduate student studying Trombone Performance at UMass Amherst. She received her Bachelors of Music in Trombone Performance from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Originally from Long Island, NY, Gillian has played with various different ensembles in NYC, Boston, and Western Mass including Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Film Score Orchestras, Opera pit orchestras, and musical pit orchestras. Gillian has been playing trombone for over 15 years, and is very proud to be a woman in brass. She strives to encourage all her students to be proud of their love for music.
