Katherine Eddins
Katherine Eddins is a musician and teacher specializing in classical violin and piano. Her musical education includes attending prestigious institutions and festivals such as the Bravo! Music Festival, the Meadowmount School of Music, and the Pienza Music Festival. These experiences provided her with opportunities to refine her skills and gain valuable performance experience.
During her time at the Interlochen Arts Academy, Katherine served as concertmaster, demonstrating her leadership within the school's musical community. Subsequently, she pursued a violin performance major at the Boston Conservatory for two years, further solidifying her musical expertise.
Katherine has had the privilege of studying under the guidance of accomplished musicians, including Elizabeth Chang, John Gilbert, Sally O'Rielly, Charles Castleman, Annie Chalex-Boyle, Gerardo Ribeiro, Lynn Chang, and Paul Sonner. These mentors played a pivotal role in shaping her musical skills and knowledge.
In addition to her academic and performance pursuits, Katherine has made contributions to the world of classical music through recordings of chamber music for Interlochen Public Radio, showcasing her versatility. Furthermore, she has lent her musical talents to songwriters at the Berklee School of Music, adding another dimension to her extensive portfolio.
Currently, Katherine is studying both music and environmental science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
