Sawyer Fletcher

Sawyer Fletcher is currently in their last semester at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they are earning a BA in Music Theory and Cello Performance with a minor in German Studies. They have played in various chamber and orchestral ensembles at UMass, including the UMass Symphony Orchestra, UMass Studio Orchestra, and the pit orchestra for the UMass Theater Department's production of Into the Woods. Sawyer enjoys teaching, and they have taught music at the Groton Hill Music Center, University Music in Lowell, MA, and as a Teaching Assistant at UMass. They also were an assistant teacher of reading, writing, and math at Westford Public Schools. In addition to cello and piano, Sawyer plays clarinet with the UMass Minuteman Marching Band, where they are a member of the Field Staff for the clarinet section. In their free time, Sawyer enjoys yoga, hiking, and cooking.
